Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team until approximately the end of September. The ideal candidate will support the bakery operations by assisting in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for baking and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and safety.
Days are Monday to Saturday. Monday to Friday approx 5am -12pm and Saturdays approx 3am to 8am.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and weighing. Support bakers in the production of various baked goods such as bread, pastries, and cakes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Assist in the production of pasties.
Skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for baking and willingness to learn new techniques.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: 10.00-12.30 per hour
