Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a keen interest in food preparation. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team, ensuring that our bakery goods are produced to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 15:00
Duties
Assist in the preparation of various bakery goods, including sandwiches, savouries, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with packaging and packing of finished products for sale.
Skills
Previous experience in a food preparation environment is advantageous. Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food preparation methods. Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.35 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
