Job Title: Playgroup Assistant
Location: Ballygawley Early Years Playgroup, Ballygawley, Co. Tyrone
Hours Full-time: 35 hours per week
Duration of Post: 9 months (To end of June 2026)

Ballygawley Early Years Playgroup are seeking to appoint a Playgroup Assistant on a temporary basis, commencing in September 2025.
Ballygawley Early Years Playgroup aims to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment, which promotes a child's physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social development. We have an exciting opportunity for the Playgroup assistant role who will be working closely with the Playgroup Leader and Deputy leader in the day-to-day running of the Playgroup to ensure safe, stimulating play in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families.
Essential Criteria:
A QCF Level 2/3 Diploma in either play work or child care, learning and development or an equivalent qualification. Great team player, ability to use their own initiative, enthusiastic, creative, excellent communication skills and has the ability to interact with children, supporting their emotional needs and involvement in play.
