Job Description

Work as part of a team within the Royal Free Hospital Hepatology service to ensure that all administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to the time of discharge are coordinated in line with specific care pathway instructions to facilitate the smooth running of the patients' journey. Where a patient has multiple specialist needs, assist the patient in coordinating their pathways to reduce multiple appointments across the Trust and/or the wider liver health network. The role focusses on providing administrative support for CNS led pathways hosted in Community Diagnostic Centres and other community sites.



An opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinical Pathway Navigator to join the Hepatology department. We are looking for a positive and motivated person with an eye for detail to join our team. The successful candidate is required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have:



Previous experience of working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment



Experience of interacting with staff at all levels



Previous administrative and organisational experience



Experience of managing and prioritising own workload and working to deadlines



Experience of dealing with non-routine and complex problems
