Please note that County Hall is the interview venue only, we have vacancies across the county predominately in Blaby, North West Leicestershire and Market Harborough.We provide a Monday-Friday service excluding bank holidays and consider requests for flexible working affording you a better work life balance. • You will work as an integral part of the clinical team working with children from birth to school age.
• You will participate in the delivery of The Healthy Child Programme and be expected to work in various community settings including the family homes.
• You will get involved in delivering universal 10-12 month and 2-2.5 year development reviews, so a sound knowledge of child development will be crucial.
• You will advise parents on a wide range of issues including positive parenting skills, helping parents understand and support their child's behaviour; weaning and nutrition; play and stimulation; speech and language development; sleep management and toilet training; ensuring that advice is evidence based to facilitate school readiness.
• You will need to be someone who can use your initiative and be attentive to detail.
• You should be able to work autonomously, but also be part of a team.
• Your development in this role will be supported through a package of training.

A full driving license with access to a vehicle with insurance for business use is essential.
