Hub Administrator
Location: Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Belfast, Saintfield Road, Belfast BT8 8BH
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7-day rotational cover)
7 days per week, 364 days per year (excluding Christmas Day), 0800 - 1800 Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1300 weekends and public holidays with the resource / capability to stand up 0800 - 2000
Salary: 15.33 - 24.52 per hour
MPA Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Band 5 Hub Administrator to support the newly established Regional Coordination Centre (RCC). This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused professional to play a key administrative role at the heart of regional healthcare planning and response across Northern Ireland.
About the Role:
The Regional Coordination Centre provides strategic oversight of health and care flows across all Trusts in Northern Ireland. The Hub Administrator will be vital to ensuring the Centre operates efficiently, acting as the link between key stakeholders and supporting daily regional operations. The postholder will work on a rotational basis, including weekends and public holidays, supporting daily operations and coordinating critical communications and meeting outputs.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to RCC leadership.
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute daily operational reports and data summaries.
  • Schedule and support regional meetings, including accurate minute taking and follow-up actions.
  • Manage incoming communications and support responses to urgent service pressures.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams and senior health stakeholders to ensure smooth operational coordination.
  • Support development of systems, processes and best practices for document management and team workflow.
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree or NQF Level 6 qualification and at least 2 years of admin experience at Band 4 level (or equivalent),
OR
4 years' experience in a similar Band 4 administrative role. * Strong experience in minute taking, diary management, data collation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of public sector operations, ideally within healthcare.
