Office is based at Cantley HC DN4 6NJ, needs to travel to other Doncaster locations, schools and patient homes as required
Job Purpose
To co-ordinate and provide skilled nursing (without direct supervision) to patients, in accordance with responsibilities under the NMC Code of Conduct.
To plan, implement and evaluate care for children with Nocturnal Enuresis, Day Wetting, Constipation and Soiling and toilet training delay in consideration of individual need.
To co-ordinate nursing activity of children's community continence patients as required.
To assist the team in managing and developing the Children's Community Continence Nursing Service within a variety of community settings ensuring the quality-of-care provision for children of all ages.
To provide specialist education, training and information to children, young people, families, and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
To work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, internal and external to the organisation, to facilitate holistic seamless care delivery for all children, young people and families using the service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB
Work within client's homes, clinics, school and community settings in all different socio/economic circumstances.
Varying access to working environments.

Lack of space and facilities within primary care and community settings.
Agile working - requirement to use multiple base points or agile working from home
Transportation and Carrying of clinical equipment.
Access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.
Essential
1st level Registered Nurse with experience in continence.
Current UK NMC registration.
Relative Training and Experience
Experience of working with children within a hospital or community setting
OR
Experience of working with adults with continence needs
Knowledge of safeguarding children's practice
Evidence of continued professional development
Car Driver
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
Relevant Qualifications
Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
