In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic assessment and treatment to patients with a wide range of complex physical, psychological, and cognitive needs. You will play a key part in supporting safe and effective discharge planning while independently managing your own clinical caseload and maintaining accurate, professional documentation. Working autonomously, with guidance from a senior therapist as needed, you will help deliver a high standard of care, meet service goals, and contribute to a positive, patient-centred clinical environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Required
BscHons or MSc in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registered
DBS Clearance
Full UK driving license
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Carry out comprehensive assessments including sensory profiles, standardised and non-standardised assessments (e.g., SIPT, Sensory Processing Measure, Beery VMI, Movement ABC).
Deliver 1:1 and group-based occupational therapy intervention to children and young people.
To devise and develop therapeutic programmes and resources to aid in the delivery of intervention.
Deliver virtual and in person meetings with education staff, parents, carers and other professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
Engage in clinical supervision, continuing professional development (CPD), and reflective practice.
