Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for newly qualified physiotherapists, student physiotherapists or developing band 5 physiotherapists. We have positions available across different locations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


You will be a motivated and enthusiastic person to become part of an effective team, providing a high standard of clinical care to patients across various locations in Leicester and Leicestershire.


The successful candidate will:

Hold a Degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy. Be registered with the HPC or a student Have relevant NHS experience either pre or post qualification Have a broad base of knowledge and experience in the field of Physiotherapy. Be able to prioritise and manage their own workload. Have excellent communication skills. Have the ability to work sensitively and effectively with patients and their carers. Be able to work well both individually and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Have evidence of continuing professional development. Be able to be flexible to meet the needs of the service. The Trust offers a seven day week working pattern and flexible working patterns. As a newly qualified you will be enrolled onto a preceptorship programme. You will also have access to regular training and supervision.

Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)




To be responsible for providing a professional Physiotherapy service and carrying an agreed caseload under the supervision of Senior Physiotherapy staff.


To provide Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients within a multi-disciplinary format.


To deliver a Physiotherapy service to patients within a variety of settings, requiring flexibility/adaptability in recognising the complexity of these environments.
