Gastroenterology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is a 24 bedded ward, specialising in looking after patients with Gastroenterology diseases. Nurses are also in involved in the management of other conditions that affect the gastrointestinal tract, such as liver disease or pancreatic issues.
As a Staff Nurse you will be expected to support the team to provide a consistent high standard of nursing practice with particular emphasis on quality and clinical standards.

Previous / recent experience or working in an acute secondary health and care setting (can include undergraduate student placements within the last 12 months)
Willingness to become a practice supervisor / assessor to or meets Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for student supervision and assessment
Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the NMC code of conduct and the proficiencies and standards for registered nurses can apply this to undergraduate training or post graduate practice
