Job Description

North London Hospice is a registered charity, that has been caring for local people since 1984. The Community teams cover three London boroughs Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey.



We are looking for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our dedicated and supportive inpatient unit team providing specialist palliative care to patients in our 15 bedded unit.

The IPU Registered Nurse is a member of the Inpatient Unit team providing holistic, individualised, high quality palliative care to all inpatients.



This includes the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, supporting patients' families and friends, and working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. They assist the unit manager/s in supervision and training of junior staff and in service development issues. They act as the shift coordinator as required.

Whilst the position is site-specific, there may be occasions when the nurse is required to provide cross-site/service cover.
