The Physiotherapy Teams at NCIC are recruiting Rotational Band 5 Physiotherapists across North Cumbria rotational Physiotherapy schemes

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking physiotherapist? We are seeking physiotherapists to join our team in the Carlisle , Brampton and Eden area who will support us in providing exceptional clinical care and develop dynamic clinicians who bring innovation to our ever developing service.



As a team we provide on-going opportunities through preceptorship, in-service training programmes; clinical supervision; management supervision and other training opportunities (formal and informal). All staff are expected to actively participate in their own development and that of others. We will encourage and facilitate involvement in service d evelopment, including research.



You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.



The rotational scheme consists of 4 monthly rotations covering a wide range of specialties including - musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, respiratory, elderly care, community rehabilitation, paediatrics, medical, critical care, acute stroke and neuro-rehabilitation. The rotations cross acute, community and outpatient specialties giving widespread experience and opportunities.



Clinical Supervision and Continuing Professional Development are actively encouraged and you will be expected to take part in our in-service training program and respiratory on call service.

The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for New to registration Nurses Midwives and Allied Health Professionals.



Registered Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:



Standard Check:

18 + Administration cost of 3.85 = 21.85. Deducted at 6.85 from 1st month salary and 5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.



Enhanced Check:

38 + administration cost of 3.90 = 41.90. Deducted at 11.90 from 1st month salary and 10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
