Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a HCPC Registered Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our team working in a variety of settings across North Staffordshire.



This is a rotational post which consists of 4 monthly rotations covering a wide range of specialties. This may include - Musculoskeletal & Rheumatology OP, Neurological Rehabilitation - inpatients & community, pulmonary rehabilitation, D2A inpatients and general domiciliary visits.



You will provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments across a variety of clinical settings, for example, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Community Hospitals and Community Home Visits.



You will work as part of a uni/multi-disciplinary team/agencies to provide services for a range of care/support issues across the spectrum of conditions to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.

As a Band 5 Physiotherapist you will assess and have an awareness of a variety of MSK, neurological and respiratory conditions.



As part of this role you will be expected to,



Assess new service user referrals and care/support needs. Assess service users and formulate, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of treatment /care/support for individuals, families and carers.

Ability to support patients with rehabilitation and self-management/ strategies

Ability to manage time and caseload effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
