The Agnes Unit is a 12 bedded assessment and treatment inpatient unit for people with learning disabilities aged 18 and over who have mental health problems, pervasive developmental disorders and challenging behaviour.
An exciting opportunity has become available at the Agnes Unit for staff nurses. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

We care for our patients 24/7 and you will work both day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
We are looking for registered nurses (RNLD / RMN) with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and motivation to provide support to the team and leadership within the Agnes Unit.

The post holders will be band 5 nurses who can demonstrate that they have a range of transferable skills that will benefit the delivery of high standards of care and enrich the MDT, or be due to qualify as a nurse and are awaiting an NMC Pin.
The role involves supporting the nursing team to deliver packages of care to a diverse group of people with complex needs. You will need to be able to display a positive attitude and have the ability to challenge positively where necessary.
The successful candidate will also need to be flexible and adaptable in order to work effectively in a challenging environment and contribute to our Agnes Unit Development Programme.
The role will involve working closely with various members of the MDT and the team manager to ensure that care is of the highest standard, and performance standards and best practice are achieved.
