Fountain Way Hospital are currently looking to recruit an innovative, enthusiastic RMN into Band 5 Staff Nurse positions on Ashdown Ward.
Ashdown is a 6 bedded male psychiatric intensive care unit that cares for individuals experiencing severe mental illness of a functional nature. We support men between the ages of 18-65 years and are situated in the same building as our mixed gendered adult ward.
To provide, and supervise the delivery of high standards of nursing care to service users, in accordance with up-to-date evidence-based professional practice and AWP policies.
We are looking to appoint a motivated individual as a Band 5 Nurse to take a lead role in the delivery of clinical care within the inpatient team.
You will provide a full range of assessment, implementation and evaluation of care programmes for our service users, for which a commitment to service user and carer involvement is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, high standards of practice and the motivation to develop inpatient care. The successful applicant will be required to work within a range of shifts and will be expected to participate in rotation onto nights.
