Nights/Saturdays: - 30.97 per hour

Bank Holidays/Sundays: - 38.11 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (some flexibility)

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Health Visitor to join our team at NHS Professionals in Great Britain. This role is essential in delivering high-quality community health services and supporting families through health promotion and disease prevention initiatives. As part of our team, you will contribute to improving community health outcomes aligned with NHS values.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive health visits for families and children in the community. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Provide health education and support to families on various health issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Monitor and evaluate health outcomes, adjusting care strategies as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality protocols. Promote health and wellbeing initiatives within the community. Support junior staff and contribute to team development.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse or Health Visitor qualification with current registration. Proven experience in community health or similar settings. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Knowledge of current health policies and best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to patient-centered care. Desirable: Experience working within NHS frameworks.
