South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the dedicated team at Bethlem Royal Hospital, River House. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your clinical expertise, creativity and compassion to a supportive multidisciplinary team, where your contribution will play a vital role in enhancing patient recovery, promoting independence, and shaping innovative therapeutic approaches within a mental health setting.
What the role includes:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to older adults with mental health needs in the community
Manage a diverse caseload, supporting clients with a variety of mental health conditions
Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, external agencies and care providers
Conduct initial assessments and contribute to shared team duties, including triage and duty cover
Participate in clinical meetings to support care planning, risk management, and service development initiatives
What you'll need:
Diploma/Degree in Occupational therapy
HCPC Registration
UK NHS Experience
Substantial post registration experience as an Occupational Therapist
Clinical experience in Mental Health settings
Experience supporting and supervising junior OT staff and students
