We are currently recruiting for a
Band 6 Occupational Therapist
at a specialist NHS mental health service supporting individuals experiencing theirfirst episode of psychosis
.Role Responsibilities:
Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for individuals with first-episode psychosis Promote recovery and meaningful occupation through evidence-based practice Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators Provide leadership, support, and supervision to junior staff or students Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist Minimum 2 years' post-qualifying experience, ideally in mental health settings Experience working with psychosis or early intervention services is desirable Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively
Job Types: Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 30.00-40.00 per hour
