RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing Clinical Care - Administering medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other treatments. Managing Long-Term Conditions - Supporting children with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or palliative care needs.Health Education & Support - Advising families on managing medical conditions, medication, and overall well-being. Co-ordinating Care - Working with doctors, therapists, schools, and social services to ensure holistic care.Safeguarding & Advocacy - Ensuring children's safety, identifying risks, and advocating for their health needs.End-of-Life & Palliative Care - Providing compassionate support for children with life-limiting conditions.CCNs aim to improve quality of life and reduce hospital admissions by delivering care in familiar environments.

SKILLS/EXP REQUIRED:

Qualified childrens nurse RSCN or RNC, at least 2 years post qualification experience, central line experience, venepuncture, oncology experience, must be able to drive and have access to a car.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27.99-38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
