Job Overview




An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Paediatric Audiology to become our Clinical Team Leader within the service. This role is a joint position as the Clinical Lead for Paediatric Audiology for the Trust as which you will also manage the team of Audiologists and Assistants from a operational perspective.

The role is full time however flexible working or 4 days a week can be considered.




The service has undergone and continues to undergo a period of transformation and upgrades to our estates, we aim to be testing in a full sound proof estate model over the next year.


As Clinical Lead you will be responsible for the overseeing and implementation of relevant clinical pathways, lead on Audits and quality of service, be a key link between LPT and partner agencies in relation to service delivery. As Team Manager you will be responsible for the routine management of the service, reviewing and creating the team rotas, annual leave and monitoring attendance etc.

Candidates must hold a relevant qualification (BSc) in Audiology recognised by the British Association of Audiologists (BAAT).




The position is Hybrid with the expectation to travel around LLR to team/ clinic bases and relevant clinical or operational meetings.

Due to the responsibilities of the role you must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car during working hours.

Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)



To provide operational support to the Community Paediatric Audiology Team. To act as Clinical lead for service. To provide effective delivery of Diagnostic Community Paediatric Audiological Services in line with national and local guidelines and targets. To deputise as requested by the Family Service Manager. To actively participate in the development of the service. To provide highly specialist Paediatric Audiological assessment and diagnosis of children and young people aged from 6 months through to 19 years. To lead service improvement and quality assurance of practice within the Community Paediatric Audiology Team.
