The post holder will provide assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and their families and carers based on psycho-analytic principles and techniques. The post holder will be expected to provide child psychotherapeutic input into the multi-disciplinary team and to offer consultation, supervision and teaching to professional colleagues to the applicants level of experience. Depending on experience the post holder will be expected to contribute to the broad range of clinical work undertaken by the team. In addition they will have the opportunity and encouragement to develop specialist skills in a particular area, in line with priorities agreed with the team.
The post holder would be expected to have an interest in brief psychotherapeutic interventions as well as longer term work. This work may take place across a variety of settings Please refer to the for more details which includes the Person Specification for this role
