; Bank Care Assistant

Main Purpose of the job; T

o maintain the well being of the individual residents and meet their needs safely.

Relationships;

A) Responsible to; Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, Manager.

B) Responsible for; Carrying out tasks allocated to you by the senior in charge of the shift.

C) Liaison; Deputy Manager, Manager & Proprietor, Care Assistants.

and other Department Personnel, Residents, Relatives & Other Visiting Professionals.

Main Tasks of the job;

1) All aspects of care, including personal hygiene and assisting clients to dress, diet & nutrition and food preparation.

2) To maintain Health and Safety.

3) To assist in the maintenance of hygiene, environmental health and Infection Control.

4) Undertake training and development of self and other members of the team.

5) Compiling and maintenance of records and maintenance of all other legal documentation.

6) Maintenance of equipment.

7) To be flexible and available for shift changes when necessary. This may require remaining on duty to cover absenteeism or working in other departments of the Home. To cover other shifts, if needed, during holidays, days off and sickness .

8) To adhere to all Policies and Procedures and to assist in their development.

9) To assist in the management of resources and purchasing of supplies.

10) To routinely carry out domestic duties in various areas of the Home.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks which may be delegated to you by your Manager or as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall needs of the Clients in the Home and the business objectives .

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
