Essential:

Genuine interest and passion in working with vulnerable people

Team Player

Excellent communication skills

Great time-keeper and reliable

Comfortable working shifts

Desirable:

SVQ Level 2 in Care

Experience in working in health or social care

Full Driving License

Experience of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety procedures

About the role:



Bank Care Assistant for day and/or night shift. Shifts will be variable and will be discussed at interview stage. Rate of pay is 12.60 per hour. We offer competitive rates of pay, paid annual registration, Company Pension Scheme, support and training and development programmes.

You will be assisting our residents with all aspects of their day to day life. Ability to provide help, support and attention where required.

Communicating with colleagues and residences family about the type and level of care required.

Assisting with domestic duties as required along with helping at mealtimes for residents and visitors.

Organising and helping with events, activities and entertainment for residents and families.

Maintaining log books and records as required.

Ensuring the home is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Always ensuring maximum safety & wellbeing.
