: 12.60 per hour at Danygraig & 12.70 per hour + 35p mileage + paid travel time (12.21/hour) at Domiciliary care

Are you looking for a flexible care role where you can truly make a difference? Whether you prefer working in a residential care home or out in the local community, we're looking for dedicated, compassionate Bank Care Assistants to join our team in Bridgend.

You'll have the opportunity to work in either (or both) of our services depending on your preference and availability.

About Danygraig Care Home

Our 48-bed residential service supports individuals living with mental health conditions, including dementia. Set in a peaceful location with beautiful views, Danygraig provides a safe, supportive environment focused on dignity, respect, and person-centred care.

About Danygraig Domiciliary Care

Our community-based service supports older people in the Bridgend area living with physical and mental health needs, sensory impairments, and dementia. You'll visit people in their own homes providing care that allows them to remain independent and confident in their daily lives.

What We Offer

Domiciliary Care - Flexible shifts between 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-22:30 Danygraig - 7:00 till 14:00 / 14:00 till 21:00 / 7:00 till 21:00 Flexible shifts to suit your schedule Full training provided - no previous experience required Friendly, supportive team culture Opportunity to gain experience across both residential and community care

What You'll Do

Depending on the service you work in, your responsibilities may include:

Supporting individuals with personal care, nutrition, and mobility Promoting independence and emotional well-being Assisting with household tasks and daily routines Travelling between clients in the local area (domiciliary care) Accurately recording care provided and communicating with the wider team

What We're Looking For

A kind, respectful, and reliable approach Flexibility to pick up day, evening, or weekend shifts as needed Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (for domiciliary care)*
Experience is a bonus - but not essential, as full training is provided NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable
