Job Description

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join our team of caring, empathetic and considerate care staff at our Nursing home in Romsey.

Marie Louise House is a purpose-built 46-bedded Nursing Home.

We believe everyone has the right to dignity, privacy and respect and we pride ourselves on providing quality and considered care to each and every individual in a safe, comfortable environment.

We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants for Bank positions only.

As a bank worker you are not contracted to regular hours however hours will be offered to you when available

Person Specification

Working towards or have obtained NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, or the willingness to attend training. Reliable and punctual with a friendly and caring approach A genuine desire to help people with an ability to show empathy and understanding towards residents The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds A team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable A respectful approach to residents/relatives Patience and a sense of humour The ability to remain calm under pressure Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Able to maintain and promote the religious ethos of the home Good level of both written and spoken English Good level of IT Skills including Microsoft office
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.25 per hour
