Job Description

We are currently recruiting Bank staff at Westerley Care Home. With Bank work you can decide when you work. we will provide you with the shifts/hours available and you can pick and choose when you would like to cover. The perfect role to fit around an existing job or family commitments. Previous experience not required as full training will be given.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support to elderly residents, assisting with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and grooming. Monitor and maintain the physical and emotional well-being of residents, including their nutrition and hydration needs. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning, ensuring their safety at all times. Support residents with medication administration as per the care plan and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. Foster a friendly and supportive environment, engaging in conversation and activities with residents to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company policies. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Annual leave entitlement is included in the enhanced bank worker pay. Shifts are typically up to 7.5 hours during the day, but part shifts at busy times are also available. Nights may also be available from time to time.
