Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Greensleeves Care. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting their independence. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high standards of care that we pride ourselves on.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents' health conditions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents at all times. Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Support residents in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care practices and senior care needs. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary. Basic first aid certification is an advantage.
