We are a charity founded in 1954 and have a number of adult and children's residential homes, including an outstanding school, on-site speech therapy, physiotherapy and hydro-therapy services. We have achieved a reputation of attaining very high service standards, working with children, young people and adults who have complex and multiple physical disabilities and associated communication, sensory and learning difficulties.
Day-to-day duties
To prepare hot meals, salads, sandwiches, potato products and sauces, including assembling food items, baking and decorating cakes and desserts and preparing cooked items to service standards.
Comply with food safety, health and safety and COSHH legislation and Trust policies and procedures
Manage stock and place orders to ensure correct levels of stock are maintained in line service instructions, keeping waste to a minimum
Cash handling including daily cashing up and balancing of float
To follow service instructions ensuring standards are kept high
Cleaning to a standard require to maintain a 5 rating
