Job Description

This is a Bank Cleaning position which involves flexible working patterns. This position is to cover a cleaner in one of our settings, if they are on annual leave/ sick leave.

The duties will include:

Being responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the buildings and completing the cleaning duties to a hygienic standard and to ensure the environment is as germ free as possible

Being a confidential worker and maintaining the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.

To comply with the PPE that is given by Jancett at all times.

To work to COSHH procedures and regulations.

To ensure all cleaning equipment is kept locked away from children's reach fully at the end of each shift.

To use all equipment (electrical and other) correctly and safely, according to the manufacturer's instructions and to report any broken or faulty equipment to your line manager.

To maintain security of the building when duties are complete, checking all windows and doors and secure.

Following all Health & Safety rules and updates to training accessed when appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

To be a proactive and forward-thinking person

Previous experience in a cleaning role is essential.

Understanding of cleaning practices and procedures is essential.

To have a professional approach and a clear understanding of confidentiality

To have good communication skills and to be able to work without direct supervision

To be an honest, friendly and reliable person and to be committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

To have a clear DBS disclosure

The hours and days:

Flexible work, 3 hours between Monday and Friday, 6.30pm- 9.30pm

Salary:

12.50 per hour.
