As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes while ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in menu development by providing input on new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills, with experience in a restaurant setting preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the kitchen team. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or customer preferences as needed.

Pay: 12.27 per hour
