Summary responsibilities


Delivering Service Level Agreement for our residents through full responsibility and accountability to provide a high-quality customer service and care. Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed. Monitoring of the innovation acoustic monitoring system and following procedures in the event of an incident. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. An understanding of care/night-time care. Production and submission of incident reports. Following check-in and sign-in protocols to ensure escalation procedures are confirmed and tested, prior to the shift starting. Keeping records of site activity through the Daily Occurrence Book. Immediate escalation of incidents to care homes. Proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to adapt and deal with the unexpected. Build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across and externally to St Monica Trust.

Skills and experience



Communication



Numeracy, literacy and verbal skills. Communicate with people with different communication needs. Understand and follow instructions and procedures. Strong customer service skills.

Other Skills and Qualifications



Essential



GCSE English and Maths Previous experience of working in a care home environment Understanding of technology and IT systems

Desirable



Experience of using Acoustic Monitoring systems Understanding of the needs of older people, including dementia and complex care needs. Understanding of GDPR.
