About the Role
We are looking for a
kind, friendly and reliable Bank Health Care Assistant
to join our team.
This role provides cover for staff annual leave and absences, offering flexibility and variety.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while maintaining dignity and independence.
Mobility Support:
Help residents move safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Emotional Support:
Offer companionship, listen actively, and promote residents' emotional well-being.
Daily Living:
Support with meals, hydration, and nutrition, respecting individual preferences and dietary needs.
Housekeeping:
Maintain clean and safe living areas, including light domestic tasks and laundry as needed.
Documentation:
Keep accurate notes and care records using the CareDocs system. Report any changes to the Senior on duty.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with colleagues, residents' families, and healthcare professionals.
Safety:
Follow infection control, safeguarding, and emergency procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
At least
1 year of experience
in a care setting (residential or domiciliary)
Good communication skills
- both written and verbal
Well-motivated
and passionate about providing quality care
Experience using
CareDocs
(advantageous but not essential)
Care Certificate
or
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
(preferred, but training provided)
Training and Support
Full
induction and ongoing training
are provided. You'll be supported by our experienced team in a friendly, family-run environment.
