Bank Lecturer in Professional Cookery

Permanent

Hours: Bank - applicants must be available for at least 2 days per week from 3/11/25 to 19/12/25. After this period, hours will be as required depending on business needs.

Salary: 41,833 - 50,359 per annum pro rata (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on 48,227)



You will deliver professional courses within the curriculum area of professional cookery to a diverse range of students at a variety of levels, with different learning styles. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the development of learning materials and preparation of lessons; the teaching of students: the marking and assessment of their work; food ordering and maintaining hygiene standards of the classroom kitchen.



The ideal candidate will possess an HND or higher level qualification in Professional Cookery alongside substantial Industry experience at supervisory/ managerial level. You will have relevant, broad demonstrable industry experience in culinary along with excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate learning to individuals with a variety of learning styles/ needs. Previous training experience or team leadership is also essential.
