Bank Lecturer in Social Sciences (History)

Fixed Term until 30th June 2026

Part time hours as required

Salary: 40,170 - 48,357 per annum (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on 46,310 per annum)(pro rata as appropriate)



We are looking for a Lecturer in Social Sciences to deliver primarily History at Level's 6, 7 and 8. However, a broad ability to teach other Social Science units on the HNC and HND programmes would be desirable.



You will deliver subjects to a diverse range of students at a variety of levels. As a professional member of the teaching staff within the College, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of lessons; the teaching of students and carrying out assessment and guidance activity where required.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree or equivalent level qualification or have demonstrable experience. You will have relevant, broad demonstrable industry experience along with excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate learning to individuals with a variety of learning styles.



Previous training/teaching experience is essential.
