Salary: 41,838- 50,359 per annum pro rata (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on 48,227 per annum pro rata.)
The successful candidate will teach Engineering Mathematics to our learner groups at National levels 5, 6 , 7 and 8
You will Teach students according to their course and particular needs, including the planning, preparation and assessment of work and manage the use of materials provided for students.
Duties include:
Contribute to department meetings and discussions
Contribute to the development of the subject throughout the college and help to write and amend schemes of work.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current developments in teaching and learning
Be aware of, and work within, relevant Health and Safety regulations
Mark class attendance registers
Participate in appropriate meetings with colleagues and students relative to the above duties and responsibilities
Monitor and support the individual academic, social and personal development of the learners.
Provide a well-ordered, interesting and informative lesson and motivated and inspire learners.
The ideal candidate will possess a Degree Level Qualification or equivalent or demonstrable experience, coupled with recent and relevant vocational experience. A TQFE (or equivalent) is desirable. The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills (with a working knowledge of MS Office), good communication skills, and have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
