About Us

VISIO Health is a family-run, consultant-led clinic providing Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Wellbeing services in Wooburn Green. We're currently expanding and applying for NHS Ophthalmology contracts, with services expected to begin in the next 1-3 months.

In preparation, we are building our

bank of experienced clinic nurses

who can support us when shifts become available.

Important Note

This is not an immediate start role.
We are actively recruiting now to create a pool of flexible nurses. If you're happy to be added to our bank and contacted when shifts begin (likely in the next 1-3 months), we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Once NHS work begins, you'll support a mix of NHS and private Ophthalmology clinics, including pre- and post-operative cataract assessments, injection clinics, and patient diagnostics. You'll use

MediSIGHT

(our electronic patient record system) to document assessments and manage patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out pre- and post-operative assessments using MediSIGHT Instil eye drops and measure intraocular pressure (IOP) Conduct visual acuity checks and prepare patients for injections or procedures Assist with OCT and visual field tests (if experienced) Support elderly and nervous patients through clear, calm communication Ensure accurate documentation and smooth patient flow

What We're Looking For

NMC-registered nurse with

Ophthalmology clinic experience (preferred)

Confident using digital patient systems (MediSIGHT or similar) Friendly, organised, and adaptable Able to work flexibly (some weeks full-time, some quieter) Comfortable with short-notice shifts when required
We would prefer applicants who

already have Ophthalmology experience

, as we are not currently in a position to provide full training.
