Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Bank Paediatric Nurse

to join our team in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and demonstrate excellent clinical skills as well as being dynamic and able to work on own their own initiative. Tracheostomy experience is a must. Paediatric nurses would be preferred as this particular role is with a young child with highly complex needs, however nurses with extensive experience would also be suitable.


Duties of the

Bank Paediatric Nurse

role include:

Supporting clients with waking night shifts and days where needed Working in partnership with professionals Maintaining and adhering to all CQC guidelines for a Safe, Effective, Caring, Response and Well-lead service.

Key skills for this

Bank Paediatric Nurse

:

Registered nurse with active PIN Must have recent tracheostomy experience Must be trained and competent in IM Injections Leadership and motivational skills Attention to detail. Creativity Negotiating skills Excellent communication skills The ability to build corporate relationships Strategic mindset Ability to think outside of the box Must be ok with dogs as client has a big dog

Have a background experience in complex nursing skills i.e.

Tracheostomy care Gastrostomy care Complex epilepsy (further training will be giving)
