We have an opportunity for a Bank Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Pentonville, a category B remand Prison located in North London, which housing around 1115 patients. This role is fantastic opportunity that would suit experienced pharmacists who thrives on working within a fast paced environment and working collaboratively within clinical teams. The site has an aging population, with high long term conditions and polypharmacy, as part of your role would provide advice on medicines management and deliver structured medication review clinics.
The prison is easily accessible via Caledonian Road and Highbury and Islington stations, as well as having staff parking onsite.
Hours
shift will call between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary
This is a bank role offering 38 per hour

What you'll be doing
As a Bank Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Be responsible for the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
Work closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations.
Provide daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners.

Requirements
GPhC registered Pharmacist.
Management and leadership experience (desirable).
Procurement and audit experience (desirable).
Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
Excellent communication skills
Although not essential ideal applicants would have at least 2 years pharmacist experience
