We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a

category A

Prison located in

Littleton.




HMP Long Lartin is a male prison serving life sentences with a capacity for 690 inmates. Not well situated so you would need to drive.




Hours




Shift patterns would be a mixture of days (9 and 12 hour shifts) and Weekends on a rota basis.




Salary





This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 21.76

an hour- depending on experience.

What you'll be doing





As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will


Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security. You will be required to work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison service's needs. develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) to be considered for this role.
