We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Bank Registered Nurse

As a Bank Nurse, you will provide essential nursing support as needed, covering shifts and contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and dignified care. Your responsibilities will include
catheter care
,
stoma care
,
risk assessments
, and
medication management
. You will also play a key role in
supervising and training Health Care Assistants (HCAs)
and ensuring the smooth operation of medication and care processes within the home.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor residents' health and wellbeing, including vital signs and medical histories
Conduct and document
risk assessments
to promote safety and guide care planning
Provide expert
catheter and stoma care
, ensuring hygiene, comfort, and early detection of complications
Administer and monitor the
intake of medications
, ensuring safe and timely delivery
Request prescriptions
and ensure continuity of residents' medication supply
Monitor
medication stock levels
, check expiry dates, and
order medications
as required
Develop, review, and implement
individualised care plans
in collaboration with the healthcare team
Maintain
accurate, up-to-date documentation
in line with legal and clinical standards
Supervise and support HCAs
, promoting best practices and contributing to staff development
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care needs and treatment plans
Foster a
safe, respectful, and compassionate environment
for residents and colleagues
Participate in regular
training and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
Valid
NMC registration
as a Registered Nurse
Proven experience or strong knowledge in
catheter care
,
stoma care
, and
medication management
Confidence in conducting
risk assessments
and managing prescription requests
Experience in
supervising and mentoring care staff
, ideally in a nursing home or similar clinical setting
Excellent
communication, leadership, and organisational skills
