EXCELLENCE IN DERMATOLOGY AND ASSOCIATED SPECIALTIES

BELFAST SKIN CLINIC - A centre of excellence in Dermatology and associated specialties is recruiting for the following position in our local anaesthetic theatre:-

BANK THEATRE STAFF NURSE - Band 6

Ad hoc hours when required. Hours will be worked over Monday to Saturday with occasional evening shifts. Experience within theatres is essential. Additional experience with dermatology, plastic surgery or treatment room minor surgical procedures will be desirable. Managerial experience will be considered an advantage.

Staff must be able to work in a flexible, dynamic, enthusiastic and proactive way whilst demonstrating exceptional communication skills and high personal standards.

You will be part of an expanding team working in a modern, purpose-built healthcare facility providing a service to our Consultant Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons and Rheumatologists.

Bank staff enjoy very comfortable working conditions. The clinic is situated very closely to main public transport routes.

Job Purpose

The successful candidates will be required to provide an efficient and professional service as part of the nursing team whilst displaying exceptional attention to detail. You may be allocated other duties as decided by management.

Salary

22 per hour

Key qualities and skills

Registered General Nurse on the live register of the NMC

Suitably qualified and experienced with appropriate skills and expertise

Excellent standard of theatre/scrub/treatment room nursing skills with a minimum of 2 years' experience

Good organisational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Team player with the ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks

Maintain a very high standard of confidentiality adhering to GDPR and Data Protection legislation
