OBMAC Healthcare is looking for an exceptional Nurse to join our compassionate and established team of healthcare professionals in our Gillaroo Lodge Private Nursing Home in Larne.

This Nurse position is based in an impressive 25-bed care facility which boasts a fantastic reputation, a friendly and professional environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to all our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- You will work closely with a highly motivated team that focuses on providing a high standard of direct patient care.

- To administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures in line with best practice.

- Keep clear and accurate records at all times

- Collaborate with the resident/ family/ healthcare team to develop and implement individualised care plans.

- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate interventions as required.

- Support and supervise care staff

Requirements

- Valid nursing registration with the relevant regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient conditions.
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care with a strong sense of empathy.

Please be informed that the basic rate of 18.50 + paid breaks is the basis for the hourly rate of 20.18.
