About the role

In your role, you will benefit from working throughout the nursery with different age groups as you cover staff absences. This flexible position will have varied and changing hours and shifts between 7:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday as needed.

Your responsibilities will include caring for the needs of the children, taking part in activities with children, monitoring/observing children and working flexibly as required within the nursery.

After a period of employment in this role, opportunities may open to increase to a full time role.

Experience and requirements

The successful candidate will have a great working knowledge of the EYFS and a passion for early years. They will be imaginative, self-motivated, flexible, passionate and a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired qualifications

Ideally grades 9 - 4 (A- C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
The role involves working in line with policies and procedures and learning a high level of safeguarding and health and safety knowledge.
