This is an incredible opportunity to support children and young people who may have experienced trauma, offering them stability, encouragement, and the chance to grow in a safe and supportive environment.
Your Role Will Involve:
Supporting young people in their daily routines, education, and leisure activities.
Providing emotional and practical care tailored to individual needs.
Encouraging the development of life skills and independence.
Creating a nurturing, structured, and safe home environment.
Working closely with other team members and professionals.
Being available to cover shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role or working with children/young people (preferred but not essential).
A calm, caring, and empathetic personality.
Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the home.
Team players who can also work independently.
A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) is a bonus.
What You'll Receive:
13.13 - 13.70 per hour
depending on experience and qualifications.
