Your Role

As a

Day Support Worker

, you will:

Provide hands-on support, including personal care and daily living tasks Build positive relationships that promote trust, confidence, and emotional development Encourage personal, social, and emotional growth through activities and routines Follow and contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies Maintain a safe, nurturing home environment Keep accurate records and promptly report any changes in behaviour or wellbeing Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and professionals to ensure joined-up support Travel as needed to support young people in different settings
What You'll Bring

Essential:



Experience supporting children or young people (residential care or similar setting preferred) Strong communication skills and ability to build trust and positive relationships Patience, empathy, and resilience, with a genuine commitment to helping others Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection Flexibility to work a structured rota including weekends and evenings Collaborative, team-oriented approach

Desirable:



NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Children and Young People's Workforce First aid training Experience supporting children with complex or challenging behaviours Full UK driving licence
