About the people and their home
Ravenscroft is a home for more mature ladies, who all have various activities they enjoy. All attend a day centre of their choice and choose the days they wish to attend. The home has a house car so staff can drop them off and pick them up from their chosen day centres. Staff can also support them with activities they wish to do out of the home as well as in the home. They enjoy doing the following activities: arts and crafts, going out for meals and to cafes for a latte, americano, coke, and a slice of cake, going to the cinema, theatre, pub trips and away for holidays. One likes to go swimming. They all enjoy a visit to Longleat or the local farm. They enjoy going out for afternoon tea and playing board games and watching films at home. They enjoy going into Eastleigh, to M&S, Whitley shopping centre, and charity shops.
About you
Although it would be beneficial to have some experience of healthcare work, it isn't absolutely necessary as we provide full training. As long as you're passionate, hard-working and empathetic, you'll fit right in.
Join the team today and begin sharing moments and shaping lives.
