As a Bank Support Worker you will be working with and supported by an experienced team and will be covering our Residential, Supported Living and Community Support Services across Weston-Super-Mare, Worle and Clevedon (all areas). You will be working various shifts covering holidays, sickness and additional cover shifts to ensure our services are fully staffed, therefore flexibility for weekends is key in this role.
Responsibilities
To respond to the particular needs of individual service users in relation to the nature of their learning disability or other support need (including physical or mental health).
When required, support service users with personal care, domestic tasks and maintaining their home.
To complete and maintain written records as required.
To contribute, develop and implement residents individual care and person centred plans.
To communicate effectively and professionally with service users, their family members and external professionals.
Work in line with Freeways policies, procedures and values.
About You
Are you passionate about enabling people to have a meaningful life, to have new experiences or develop new skills? Are you available to work flexible including evenings and weekends?
A clean drivers licence and access to own transport would be beneficial but not essential.
