Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals living in a home care environment. The role involves supporting this clients with daily activities, promoting independence, . Applicants should have a genuine interest in complex care, and patient-centred services. Experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing valuable skills in the healthcare sector.

We are looking for both Day and Night Workers, working a variety of shifts.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely using appropriate techniques Support clients with activities of daily living to promote independence Monitor health and behaviour changes, reporting concerns to healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress Assist with light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary Supporting with Tracheostomy management.

Skills

Experience in supporting individuals in home care environments is advantageous Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Organised with the ability to follow care plans accurately Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of clients and work shifts as required

Pay: 14.00-14.50 per hour
