compassionate, experienced Support Worker

to provide person-centred care for a wonderful individual living in their

family home in Bramley, Rotherham

.


This individual lives with

Severe Learning Disabilities, Autism, Rett Syndrome, Scoliosis, and Dysphagia

--but those diagnoses don't define who they are. They are a vibrant person with a love for

baking, craft activities, and music

. Every day brings the chance to help them do more of what they love and live life to the fullest.


We are looking for someone who is:

Warm, empathetic, and encouraging

Comfortable delivering high-quality support at home and in the community Familiar with the

Bramley/Rotherham area

A

driver with a full UK licence

(essential to support outings and appointments)

This role involves both personal and clinical care, and you'll be part of a supportive, experienced team helping this individual live a safe, fulfilling, and joyful life.

What will your shift involve?




In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

This role sits within our LD&A family, and you will be supported by an experienced hands-on Team Leader.
