We are looking for inspirational Substance Misuse Nurses to join our team of Bank staff at our residential medical detox facility based in Hemel Hempstead.

You would provide cover for sickness/ holiday/ extra staff working a variety of shifts including day shifts, night shifts and weekends, whichever is most convenient for you and suits your availability.

Druglink is a substance misuse charity based in Hertfordshire. Our objective is to change the future for people who are, or could be, affected by substance misuse. We achieve this through Addiction Treatment, Housing Solutions, Education and Training.

3. Main Purpose of the job

Main Purpose of Role

To deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to service users including the service users' significant others in the plan, to maximise positive outcomes.

Where indicated, provide Alcohol, Opiate and any other substance detoxification support and management including liaising with hospital and community partners. Deliver general health care support, including Wound Care, ECG's, healthcare assessments, and other similar activities.

Undertake basic life support/ anaphylaxis training so you are confident and competent to manage a medical emergency including the administration of emergency drugs.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: 16.57-19.22 per hour
